| Television
takes the brand into millions of homes -
September 06 |
| |
Television coverage of the brand is growing constantly as the makeover genre continues to expand and get ratings. Little Greene is the main paint supplier for Sarah Beeny’s new series Streets Ahead – most people remember the episode in Penge where the entire street was painted in different shades of green all supplied by Little Greene. In the planning stages Sarah’s office was reputedly covered with Little Greene sample pots and colour cards. |

|
| |
There is a new season of filming for 60 Minute Makeover
which is featuring the brand along with Channel 4’s Selling
Houses and Property Ladder.
The House Doctor’s continued appreciation of the quality of
the product is probably generating the most awareness among consumers.
The distinctive paint tins are often seen in the programme, along
with voice over mentions and sole sponsorship of Ann Maurice’s
national seminar programme. |

| First
Prize winners in national competition -
July 2004 |
| |
We have
won first prize in a national competition organised by wallcovering
distributors S. J. Dixon & Son Ltd. The competition was
open to specialist wallcovering retailers throughout the
country who competed in a series of seven regional heats.
The creative
use of carefully selected materials and props that included
attractive floral decorations, glassware, candles and even
a colour coordinated chemise hanging on the wall, swayed
the judges decision in awarding first prize to thedecoratingcentre.com. |

fabrics from the Alfric Interiors ‘Gardens’ collection
clinched the first prize. |

Mark
Baker travels the North of England for the well-known
shower manufacturer, Mira. The job takes him to many
show homes.

| Not
surprisingly, this daily contact has provided Mark with plenty
of ideas, inspiring him to update his small, two bedroom-terraced
home on the quite outskirts of Wetherby, Yorkshire. |

walls of his upstairs study are finished in a new range
of aluminium fleck paint known as Ilumitex (see our products
section) |

By
complete contrast the walls of the office and bathroom are finished
in an eccentric, unusual and enjoyably extravagant textured,
metallic paint effect.
The
specialist finish known as Ilumatex (see our products section)
features a grey base-coat which is then finished in a range of
coloured, aluminium particles giving a striking, speckled effect.

new "Magic eye" is here! |

|
This handy
gadget allows us to scan just about anything, ie fabric, tiles,
wallpaper etc. in order for us to produce a paint colour exactly
matching the scanned item.
So now there's
no need to settle for a paint colour that nearly matches, you
can have exactly the colour you want.
Best of all,
this service is completely FREE!
This equipment
is not widely available and if you would like to take advantage
of our service, send us items you want matching and we`ll mix
the colour for you and post it all back! (subject
to post and packaging charge)
(Please note....apparently there are some
limitations in producing colours on difficult surfaces
eg. carpets, so the manufacturers cannot 100% guarantee
every colour.....however we have used this equipment extensively,
and have yet to find something we can`t match.) |
